In occasion of the dramatic advent of Coranavirudae and its variants in the World, during the winter 2020-2021, few have been the physicians who have supposed that manifold symptoms were evoked by 4 strains of seasonal flu from South America or Asia and asserted that the patients were infected by covid. The AA have focuse their attention on a panel group of 6 young workers who manifested odd symptoms, that could be caused by flu or by covid (these strangers did not have Healf Insurance Fund in our land). The AA have tried to cure these volunteers administering them an alder tree soft drink added with three vitamins, that correspond to the famous acronym ACE.Symtoms tend to disappear at all after 6 days of treatment.

Background: Diabetes mellitus (DM) is a chronic illness characterized by an elevated blood glucose associated with absent or inadequate pancreatic insulin secretion, with or without concurrent impairment of insulin action. Aim: This study aimed to compare the pancreatic β-cell function improvement by DPP-4 inhibitors as Vildagliptin and SGLT2 inhibitors as Canagliflozin on diabetic male albino rats. Methods: Thirty-six rats were randomly divided into 4 equal groups (n=9): control group, untreated diabetic group, vildagliptin-treated diabetic group (20 mg/kg/day by orally) and canagliflozin-treated diabetic group (40 mg/kg/day orally). Type 2 DM was induced by intraperitoneal(IP) injection of nicotinamide (230 mg/kg) 15 min prior to single dose injection of streptozotocin (60 mg/kg, I.P.). The assessed parameters were fasting blood glucose (FBG), proinsulin, insulin, proinsulin/Insulin ratio, relative expression of MafA gene (β-cells specific transcription factor), Pancreatic and duodenal homebox-1 (PDX-1) gene and histopathology for pancreatic β- cell...........

This study was aimed at evaluating the phytochemical and proximate composition of Garcinia kola (Bitter kola) seeds and Vernonia amygdalina (Bitter leaf) sold in Abuja, Nigeria. Bitter leaf and bitter kola were collected from various markets in Abuja. Some of the bitter leaves were collected from various gardens as bitter leaf widely grows in most parts of Nigeria. In evaluation of phytochemical constituents, Flavonoids and Saponins were the most abundant in both G. kola and V. amygdalina (4.54 ±0.35: 6.07 ±6.05) mg/100g. Flavonoid contents of G. kola (3.62 ±2.54) mg/100g and V. amygdalina (21.04 ±9.72) mg/100g represented the highest phytochemical contents. There was, however, no significant difference (p > 0.05) in the Saponins and Flavonoids content of G. kola and V. amygdalina: Cal...........

As the number of confirmed cases and deaths attributed to COVID-19 continue to climb worldwide, policymakers should act quickly to respond. As state policymakers take steps to ensure that their communities are prepared for COVID-19, they should evaluate their state's laws and emergency plans to ensure that pharmacists practicing in hospitals, clinics, physician offices and retail settings are able to effectively support the COVID-19 response. In many communities, pharmacists are the most accessible healthcare providers and the first touch point of patient engagement with the healthcare system. In fact, 90% of all Americans live within five miles of a community pharmacy. In rural and underserved communities and in areas experiencing physician shortages, pharmacists may be the only healthcare provider that is immediately...........
