Background: Heart failure is a clinical syndrome where the heart is not pumping enough blood when compared to normal circumstances. We aimed to ascertain the health-related quality of life among heart failure patients. Secondly, we wished to assess the knowledge, assessment, and practice of heart failure patients. Aim: In this study, we assessed the Health-Related Quality of Life in Heart Failure patients. Materials and methods: In this prospective study conducted 49 Heart Failure were included. Data collected were coded in SPSS software for statistical analysis. The correlation between KAP and HRQOL was assessed with Pearson correlation. A P - Value of 0f < 0.05 was considered statistically significant.........

Background: Traditional medicine constitutes for Africa in general and for Niger in particular a cultural and economic heritage of undeniable importance. However, the development of this heritage poses a certain number of problems, one of the most important of which remains the distrust of healers in sharing their often initiatory knowledge. Thus, it is important to conduct an ethnobotanical study to keep the medicinal secrets of plants in writing. Materials and Methods: An ethnobotanical survey was carried out, using a pre-established questionnaire addressed to traditional practitioners according to their availability through direct and individual interviews. For this, the technique of semi-structured open interviews is used to collect information.........

In the present it is aim to develop a RP- HPLC method for the quantitation of Chlorpromazine HCl and Trihexiphenidyl HCl simultaneously. The aim was achieved by using chromatographic conditions ODS C18 (250×4.6mm, 5μ) Column, mixture of Ammonium acetate Buffer and Methanol in the ratio of 15:85 with the flow rate of 1ml/min and column temperature was 200C. The effluents were detected at the wavelength of 211nm. Retention time was 2.5 min and 4.4 min for Chlorpromazine HCl and Trihexiphenidyl respectively. The proposed new method was validated according to ICH guidelines and successfully applied to the determination of both drugs in their combined pharmaceutical formulation with mean recoveries of 99.58-100.45 ± 0.386-0.931. Linearity obeys in the range of 60-140μg/ml and 2.4-5.6μg/ml for both drugs correspondingly with correlation coefficient values as 0.998 and 0.996 respectively. The results obtained were found to be satisfactory, when statistically compared to those obtained from a reference method.

Glaucoma is a complicated eye disease that causes progressive optic nerve damage and is frequently associated with elevated intraocular pressure (IOP).Apigenin is a naturally occurring flavonoid found in fruits and vegetables has received interest for its possible medicinal characteristics including anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. In this study we use an in-silico approach to investigate apigenin's apigenin molecular docking studies against antiglaucoma targets. Apigenin may offer promise as a potential candidate for the treatment of glaucoma by targeting critical proteins involved in the disease's pathogenesis according to the findings

In the traditional treatment of pain and inflammatory illnesses, Hirudo medicinalis (Medicinal leeches) are used therapeutically. Leeches are connected to the afflicted areas and start sucking blood after a first, painless bite. Instead of the blood extracted during biting, the majority of these therapeutic benefits originate from the numerous bioactive substances found in saliva, such as hyaluronidase, hirudin, calin, destabilase, apyrase, eglin, and many others. Treatments focus on reducing regional pain syndromes, primarily for osteoarthritis of the knee or other joint conditions. The use of this technology extends to plastic surgery, where it is used to maintain blood flow in clogged skin flaps, reconstructive procedures, cardiovascular complications, varicose veins.........

Pharmaceuticals review and assessment by regulatory bodies justifies necessity to maintain consistency, transparency, and efficiency during evaluation. Standardized approach followed during research ensures clear objective, thorough evaluation, evaluation of preformulation parameters, and hence ultimately safeguarding public health. Pharmaceutical regulatory bodies play a pivotal role in safeguarding public health by organizing the development, manufacturing, and distribution of pharmaceutical products in an effective way. Regulatory bodies are responsible for ensuring drugs standards, safety, efficacy, and quality. Regulatory bodies are responsible for guidelines enforcement and assessment of lifecycle of pharmaceuticals, which includes preclinical studies and clinical studies and then evaluation of clinical trials humans......
