Baccaurea angulata is one of the underutilized plant species in Indonesia. Baccaurea angulata is a medicinal plant that produces active compounds and has the potential to inhibit the growth of bacteria and fungi that cause infectious diseases. Flavonoids are one of the secondary metabolites found in the leaves of Baccaurea angulata. These compounds are used as an anticancer, antitumor, wound infection medicine, antiviral and antifungal. This study aims to determine the antimicrobial activity and toxicity of Baccaurea angulata leaves originating in Ceruk Village, Northeast Bunguran District, Natuna Regency, Riau Islands. This leaf extract is extracted by maceration with methanol as a solvent.........

Objective: Studying the impact of three different types of organic solvent namely toluene, methanol and acetone on the main crystallographic phase of metformin drug. Methods: Calculations of solubilities rates accompanied with XRD analyses, plus accurate monitoring of metformin microstructural features as function of applied solvent of crystallization process. Results: XRD analyses indicated that applied solvent has no impact on the crystal structure of metformin. The roughness of metformin surface's were monitored by using high resolution SEM and AFM-microscope. Conclusion: Surface roughness plays an important role on dissolution rates process and consequently solvation rates. Enhancing or decreasing dissolution rates could be benefit in metformin drug industries.

Theranostics is the association of a diagnostic imaging technique plus a treatment, having in common a single agent. Regarding neuroendocrine tumors, Ga-DOTATE PET/CT, treatment with LuOctreotate make up the theranostic set and all of them have in common the somatostatin analogues labeled with radioactive isotopes. We reported a series of 43 consecutive patients with advanced neuroendocrine tumors who underwent treatment with LuOctreotate after selection by Ga-DOTATE PET/CT or Octreoscan. The theranostic allowed good oncological results and low toxicity.

In this investigation, a robust, cost-effective, and swift approach for determining Leniolisib in bulk and pharmaceutical formulations, following the guidelines set by the International Council for Harmonization of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH). The method employs double-beam UV Spectrophotometry and has undergone thorough validation to ensure its reliability. Leniolisib samples, dissolved in methanol, exhibited maximum absorbance at 222.1 nm. The method's linearity, validated within the concentration range of 5-30 μg/mL, adheres to Beer's law. Validation parameters such as precision, limit of detection (LOD), limit of quantification (LOQ), accuracy, robustness, and ruggedness were meticulously assessed. The method demonstrated high precision, low LOD and LOQ, indicating its sensitivity. Accuracy, evaluated through.....

Herb combinations such as Azadirachta indica and Curcuma longa have been shown to reduce inflammation associated with malaria.Investigating the immune-modulating and synergistic effects of Plasmodium berghei infection combined with Azadirachta indica and Curcuma longa is the aim of this study. Both have the power to alter how the immune system reacts to substances that cause malaria. The chemical constituents of Azadirachta indica can lessen fever and other malarial symptoms. The antiplasmodial properties of curcumin are ascribed to two constituents: curcumin BF2 and azadirachtin dimethoxy curcumin. Derivatives of Plasmodium species have an adverse reaction with monocarbonyl tetramethoxy curcumin.. However, curcumin has additional benefits, such as anti-inflammatory and anti-malarial characteristics. Mice infected with Plasmodium yoelii can live for several longer days due to curcumin'dose-dependentantimalarialaction. While Azadirachta indica is similar in pathogenesis, prevention, and parasiticidal action, curcumin has shown a wide range of pharmacological properties against proliferation, hormonal abnormalities, and parasiticidal activity.....
